Section A of the MYP Design Cycle — Inquiring and Analyzing — is important because it helps you understand the problem before trying to solve it.

In this section, you:

• Research what already exists and what others have done.

• Identify what people actually need or want.

• Explain why the problem matters.

• Set clear goals for your own project.

By doing this, you make sure your solution is based on real information, not guesses. It’s about thinking deeply before creating — like being a detective before becoming an inventor.
